Robert Arkins is an Irish musician and actor best known for his iconic portrayal of band manager Jimmy Rabbitte in the 1991 cult classic film, The Commitments. A native of Drumcondra, Dublin, he has been a professional musician since age 15 and currently maintains a career as a composer and performer.
